Adjusting Your One-Size-Fits-Most Collar Strap

SkyShepherd's adjustable collar strap can fit most dogs. From 15 lbs dogs to 100+ lbs dogs, our new collar strap should be able to handle it.

But how do you do the adjustment? Here's a video showing the process:

The simple steps are:

• Make sure the collar is buckled. 
• Take the free end of the collar strap and free it back out of all the loops, including one side of the buckle, but not both sides. 
• Once you have the free end running through one side of the plastic buckle, to make the collar strap smaller, pull the free end through the buckle further, until you see the desired smaller circumference. To make it bigger, pull on the non-free side of the strap, so that less of the free end is sticking past the buckle, making the internal collar circumference bigger until it's as big as you need. 
• Once you get the desired internal circumference, feed the free end of the collar strap back through all the loops. 
• Confirm fit with SkyShepherd GPS Collar unit on the strap, on your dog's neck. The fit should be very snug, high on your dog's neck, above any other worn collars. You should be able to get a finger underneath the strap between the back of your dog's neck and the collar strap, and the collar should not restrict your dog's breathing. 
• If you need to make further adjustments, use the same method just described. 
• Once you've confirmed you have the right fit, you can optionally trim the free end of the collar strap to your preferred length so it's not floppy and hanging free.
