Can I see where my dog is if it gets out?

SkyShepherd being a containment system, this will hopefully not be an issue. Even so, no pet containment system is 100% effective, even solid fencing. If for some reason your dog finds itself outside its Safe Zone, the Yard Monitor provides location tracking within a certain range.

With the provided Yard Monitor connected to a Wi-Fi network, your collar should be able to report its location to the Yard Monitor at distances up to a half mile (in excellent conditions). This range could be less if there are terrain barriers in between the collar and the Yard Monitor (such as a large hill). So, within a "local area" you'll be able to see your collar, again, assuming you've got your Yard Monitor connected. 

NOTE: All containment features work, regardless of whether your Yard Monitor is within range of your collar(s). If your collar is out of range of the Yard Monitor, you just won't be able to see updated locations for your collar, or get any notifications about its status.
